                                                        What is Yantra ?
Yantra is like a machine, which has geometric form and numerical figures encripted on a suitable material just like circuits, used in all electronic instruments or microchips used in computers. Yantra is often referred to as a machine or a diagram of power .In accordance to the need of an individual an astrologer prescribes appropriate Yantra or Mantra to get blessings of a particular deity and to bestow the favors that are essential for the subject to remove all obstacles for a desired success and resolve outstanding problems and. Shree Yantra is a Yantra for or material wealth. Shree Yantra is also called Navchakra Yantra - composed of nine circuits, namely "Shrim which is the outermost peripheries like a square with Four corners.
This is "Bij Mantra" for prosperity and abundance. The three 'concentric circles' represent three worlds - Akash, Prithvi, and Patal. Akash is above the earth and Patal is below the earth. The sixteen-petal ring is called 'Sarva Pari Purak Chakra' meaning there by all worldly joys. The eight petals ring ' Sarva Saubhaagya Chakra ' given of auspiciousness and spiritual ascent. The fourth chakra consists of fourteen triangles for the outer rim, 'provider of protection'. It gives all protection against all evil forces.
The next two chakras each with ten triangles, give eternal bliss. Eternal bliss consists of outer bliss and inner bliss. Outer bliss means material wealth and inner bliss means spiritual element. The seventh chakra of eight triangles is called ' Sarva Rog Hara ' - which removes of all diseases, bad thoughts and earthly bondage. The inverted triangle ( the eighth chakra )“Ashta Siddhies” is the provider of all accomplishments
The last chakra, the bindu 'The condensed energy or The Nucleus',Its is considered as the seed of ultimate sound and the dynamic and static aspects of the two ( Shiva - Shakti, ) in one. Shree Yantra is configuration of nine interlacing triangles centred around the bindu. Five downward triangles represent Shakti ( Female energy ) and four upwards triangles represent Shiva. Inverted triangle is Yoni - Female Organ and bindu is the male organ.
In India Shiva the God of destruction, his consort Goddess of power / creation, Shakti or Parvati are not worshipped similar to other God figures like Rama, Krishna or Christ. They are worshipped in their ' Tantric form ' as female and male organ. These types of temples exist all over India. The world famous temple of Konark and Khajuraho depicts male and female figures in sexy yogic posses. In true Tantric tradition these figures depict the ascendance of sexual energy and awakening of the Kundlini energy ' Which in turn energizes ' the psychic centers.
